Return Policy


At AO Outdoors, your satisfaction is our top priority. We strive to provide you with the best outdoor gear and equipment, but we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free return process, please review our return policy below.


General Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer full credit for items returned in new condition within 15 days of purchase, minus applicable return handling fees. Here’s what you need to know:

Return Handling Fees:

  • $25 for orders under1,000.
  • $55 for orders 1,000 and over.
  • $105 for NFA (National Firearms Act) items.

Large/Special Orders: Returns for large or special orders require special consideration and are subject to approval at AO Outdoors' discretion.


Clothing and Footwear Returns

We want you to love your outdoor apparel and footwear as much as we do. To ensure fairness and hygiene, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Clothing: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in new condition with all original manufacturer tags attached. Clothing with removed tags or signs of wear cannot be returned.

  • Footwear: Shoes must be returned in their original, undamaged shoe box. Footwear showing visible wear or returned without the original packaging will not be accepted.

  • Base Layers and Undergarments: Due to hygiene reasons, these items are non-returnable.


Firearms and Crossbows

For safety and compliance reasons, firearms and crossbows are subject to specific return conditions:

  • Firearms: Firearms that have been fired or had optics or accessories attached are no longer considered new and are non-returnable.

  • Crossbows: Crossbows that have been fired are no longer considered new. Please contact the manufacturer directly for warranty or repair services. AO Outdoors cannot accept returns for used crossbows.


Riflescopes

To maintain the quality and integrity of our riflescopes, please note the following:

  • Mounted Scopes: If a riflescope has been mounted and is returned, a minimum restocking fee of 20% will apply.


Ammunition

For safety and regulatory reasons, ammunition is non-returnable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances.


Shipping and Packaging

To ensure your return is processed smoothly, please follow these guidelines:

  • Original Packaging: Return all items in their original packaging and include all materials. If original packaging is missing or damaged due to improper packing, a refund may not be possible.

  • Shipper Box: Items must be returned inside a shipper box, preferably the one originally used for shipment.


Shipping Discrepancies

If you receive a package with damaged, missing, or incorrect items, please report the issue within 72 hours of delivery. Contact us immediately at contact@aooutdoors.com so we can resolve the issue promptly.


How to Initiate a Return

To start the return process, follow these steps:

  1. Email Us: Send an email to contact@aooutdoors.com with your order details and reason for return.

  2. Return Authorization: Our support team will review your request and issue a Return Authorization (RA) if applicable.

  3. Ship Your Item: Once you receive your RA, ship the item back to us using a trackable shipping method.


Holiday Return Processing

During peak holiday seasons, please allow 10-15 days for your return to be processed once it is received. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to handle all requests.
