The Sidewinder is our premium handheld observational thermal monocular series. All models come equipped with either a 640x512 twelve micron infrared detector and a 1024x768 OLED display, for improved color rendering. The Sidewinder thermal sensors are equipped with sensitive temperature ratings, coming in at sub-20 millikelvin across the entire product family. Improvements over the Taipan monoculars include a more robust body/housing and a removable, rechargeable 18650 battery. The Sidewinders 64GB memory with advanced software supporting both video recording and image capturing.
